Eventbrite ticketer adds mobile at-the-door sales

Ticket sales platform Eventbrite is adding an at-the-door credit card payment option in a drive to more than double last year's sales and top $1 billion in 2012. The service consists of an iPad application and credit card reader that extend Eventbrite's online ticketing function. The app also serves as a "mobile box office" to gather consumer data from users' credit cards for further promotions.
