Expert: Dermatologists' fees will face increasing scrutiny

As the baby boom generation ages and skin cancer becomes more prevalent, dermatologists' fees will be under the microscope, says Dr. Jack Resneck Jr., an associate professor of clinical dermatology at the San Francisco Institute for Health Policy Studies and the University of California, San Francisco. Policymakers, insurers and employers will increasingly look for ways to curb health care spending, and dermatologists should do their best to keep their costs under control, he says.
