A simple click-to-call ad unit can be an effective mobile marketing tool, allowing companies to spark one-on-one relationships with potential customers, according to this article. Google-based click-to-call ads drive about 10 million calls to businesses each week, says Google mobile sales manager Brendon Kraham. "Sometimes on a smartphone that can do so many sophisticated things, it is easy to forget that the best solution for a marketer can often be the simplest one," he adds.
