Congress passes measure to restore tuition-assistance programs

A provision of the spending bill passed by Congress today includes a provision restoring the tuition-assistance programs of the Army, Air Force and Marine Corps. "[Tuition aid] truly does help prepare our service members for a successful transition into the civilian workforce when they choose to leave the military," said Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C.
