Gold funds lose investors to other commodity ETFs

The skidding price of gold has sent investors in exchange-traded funds out of funds specific to the metal and into ETFs with exposure to a wider array of commodities, according to fund tracker Lipper. Widely based ETFs in the U.S. attracted more than US$1 billion in each of the past two months, with further gains seen this month. Meanwhile, about US$4 billion exited gold funds last month.
