Apple's iOS tops Android for traffic in many markets

Apple's iOS tops Android for the greatest share of mobile traffic in 34 out of 101 nations surveyed, including the U.S., Canada and much of Europe, according to an index compiled by dotMobi. Globally, however, Android remains in the lead, particularly in central Europe and developing nations. "Apple is undoubtedly an aspirational brand, which delivers great products, however the cost of its devices may mean it loses market share in the long tail," said dotMobi Chief Operating Officer Eileen O'Sullivan.
