High-speed Internet in cars is becoming a reality

The 2015 Audi A3, which makes its debut in April, will become the first U.S. vehicle to offer 4G LTE wireless Internet connection. GM will follow suit in June with Chevrolet and other models featuring 4G connections, and Ford and Toyota also have high-speed connections in the works. For the time being, in-car applications are expected to mimic existing ones for Pandora, Priceline and others, but they eventually could stream movies, generate high-resolution maps and stream high-fidelity audio.
