Nordstrom to postpone Rack store openings in Canada

Nordstrom is on track to open its first full-line department store in Canada this year, but the U.S. retailer will hold off on plans to open its Rack outlet stores north of the border until 2017, the company said Thursday. "There are enough differences for us in our distribution and systems that virtually everything that we do in the States we have to alter somehow for Canada, and we had underestimated that," Nordstrom spokeswoman Brooke White said.
