IFC to launch Friday night programming block

IFC is scheduled to launch "IFC Fridays," a four-hour programming block devoted to the network's new original series, on April 9. IFC's SVP of marketing Evan Shapiro says the block is meant to appeal to upscale men ages 25-45, the network's target audience.
