Brooklyn's Williamsburg soon to see much more residential space

The 20- and 30-somethings who populate Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood will soon have much more housing to choose from than the packed rentals that fill the area. More than 130 buildings are planned for Williamsburg and its neighboring area to the north, Greenpoint, and large-scale waterfront developments are expected to sprout as rezoning along the East River transforms 75 blocks from industrial to residential use.
