Jets offer $720 million for stadium bidding

The New York Jets offered the MTA $720 million, up from their original proposal of $100 million, for the rights to build a Jets stadium and mixed-use development to include a residential community and 5-acre park over the Rail Yards on the West Side of Manhattan. It is unknown what other bidders such as Cablevision and a Brooklyn energy company offered in their proposals, but the winner could be selected by March 31.
