Study: Schools use federal tech funds for more than just hardware and software

According to a new report from the State Educational Technology Directors Association, schools will find it harder to meet NCLB's goals if President George W. Bush's proposed cut to the $500 million Enhancing Education Through Technology block-grant program goes through. The study found that 100% of ETTT recipients say they've used the money to help close the achievement gap, revamp data systems and provide teacher training in support of NCLB mandates.
