MLB, iN DEMAND dispute merits of Extra Innings offer

IN DEMAND, a partnership between Comcast, Time Warner and Cox, felt it matched DirecTV's offer for Major League Baseball's Extra Innings package, but MLB said iN DEMAND's offer fell short. While both sides were vague about what part of iN DEMAND's offer didn't match DirecTV's bid, sources said the disagreement was over how the MLB Baseball channel, which is part of the deal, would be carried and distributed.
