Take a look at your fiber intake when trying to figure out the cause of your digestive problems, experts say. Aim for 25 to 30 grams of fiber daily to add bulk to stool, speed up transit times and help your body absorb toxins, Dr. Walter J. Coyle recommends. But be sure to increase your fiber intake slowly, over time, to avoid bloating and flatulence.
