ECB's Trichet supports stricter regulation of CDS market

European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet scrutinized speculative trading and offered his support for tougher oversight and regulation of the massive credit default swaps market. "We need more transparency in CDS markets and so do investors," he said. "...
