Illinois lobbies for new Caterpillar plant:

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn wants Caterpillar to build an excavators plant in the state, but the company said it is premature to talk about a site since it hasn't even determined whether to build a U.S. facility. If Caterpillar decides to build a U.S. plant, competition will be fierce among states to secure the project. Recently, Caterpillar has been moving to non-union states, such as Georgia, Texas and Arkansas.
