NIST releases 1st batch of tools for testing HIT systems

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has unveiled the first installment of a suite of software tools it is developing in collaboration with health IT vendors and other partners. The tools are designed to test health IT products for compliance with meaningful use rules and other HHS standards, the agency said in a notice.
