Obesity raises risks for multiple cancers, data show

Overweight and obese people have a higher risk of several cancers, including postmenopausal breast, colon, esophageal, kidney and pancreatic cancer, studies indicate. Researchers are looking at how obesity affects cancer risk and whether weight loss can reduce the risk.
