Skipping pre- or post-workout meals can lead to problems

Experts say a common mistake that many people make is skipping meals before or after their workouts. "When you exercise, you exhaust your tank, and it needs to be refueled again. It could lead to a cascade of problems, from breaking down muscles to feeling tired and light-headed, to feeling extremely hungry and then overeating," registered dietitian Manuel Villacorta says.
