Teen girls spread word on sales by phone, not social media

Teenage girls are more likely to circulate information about sales on favorite brands by phoning or texting friends than by posting the information on Facebook, according to an unscientific poll by Euro RSCG Worldwide. The girls, of whom only one in three had their own credit cards, also were more apt to make purchases in stores than online.
