WFP sets up regional aid hub for Asian disasters

A new permanent regional aid center being built by Malaysian authorities for the World Food Programme will help international relief agencies respond within 48 hours to natural disasters in the region. The facility will contain stocks of food, tents and other relief supplies, and WFP officials predict the center will be operational within a year.
