N.J., Pa. seek more funding for transportation projects

Will tolls and public-private partnerships resolve the transportation funding challenges facing New Jersey and Pennsylvania? These alternatives are becoming a possibility as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett look for ways to augment the void left by spending cuts in their state budgets. Both governors will channel funding for canceled rail projects and negotiate additional loans to finance transportation infrastructure improvements.
