Skip the crisis, go straight to the transformation

Many businesses operate in a sort of permanent crisis mode, putting out fires and trying to match the competition on all fronts, says technology forecaster Daniel Burrus. But "we can't solve our problems by being crisis managers," Burrus says. Instead of reacting and competing, he recommends anticipating changes and focusing on what the competition can't do.
