Hydropower could hold key to African energy access

The potential for hydroelectric power in Africa is so great that it could meet the electricity needs of the entire continent, according the latest U.N. World Water Development Report. While technological challenges are significant, the report says the greatest impediment to Africa-wide electricity projects is cooperation among governments.
