Real-time interactive analysis of data could be the next big thing in Big Data applications, panelists said Thursday at a conference. "Interactive analytics is a complex problem. You have on one end a business [user] asking, 'What if we did things a little different?'* " said Quantcast's Silvius Rus. Verizon's Ashok Srivastava added, "Imagine taking your cellphone pictures and combining them with multiple millions of other cellphone pictures. That's something that can be used by scientists."
