Snack makers discuss changing appetites at convention

The latest trends in nutritional tastes are the subject at this week's Snack Food Association convention in Philadelphia. Shearer's Foods said it refuses to sacrifice taste by changing the recipe of its potato chips, but now includes a message on its products encouraging consumers to exercise, while other snack makers say they are wary of creating low-carb products in case the current eating trend is just a fad.
