Canadian health official pushes for "fat tax"

In addition to banning junk food in schools, the government should tax certain snack foods to help fight childhood obesity, said Dr. Ruth Collins-Nakai, president of the Canadian Medical Association. Other health organizations, including the World Health Organization, have also recommended the so-called "fat tax."
