Army Corps disputes finding of Louisiana report

The Army Corps of Engineers on Thursday said it was not the only entity responsible for mistakes that led to the floods following Hurricane Katrina. The agency disputed a Louisiana-commissioned report and noted the Corps worked with state and local groups throughout the process. "The point is that all levels of government are part of the team that is responsible for the flood protection of the New Orleans area," a Corps spokesman said. "No one entity can do this by themselves."
