Cell phones get a sense of motion

Accelerometers, the tiny motion sensors found in Nintendo's Wii remote, have begun transitioning into cell phones. Apple's iPhone will be one of the first in the U.S. to incorporate the technology, which industry insiders expect will revolutionize how consumers use their mobile devices.
