CEO sounds confident note about future of Yahoo!

Although Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel didn't provide specific figures ahead of the portal's earnings report, he told an audience at Advertising Age's 360 Media conference that he felt "really great" about the results from the new Panama ad system. In his remarks, Semel also said Yahoo! would be increasing its user-generated content over the next six months, largely via partnerships with content creators, rather than through its own productions.
