New Nielsen service tests for product-placement success

A&E, Fox, Magna Global and Zenith Media are among the first subscribers of a new service from The Nielsen Co. that allows for the testing of various product-placement scenarios in different programs. The Place Values service was created based on research from Nielsen's Product Placement Valuation Study, in which 10,000 viewers evaluated placements of nearly 200 brands in 50 broadcast and cable shows.
