Will Washington teachers withdraw support over standardized tests?

As educators and students grow increasingly frustrated with Washington state's standardized tests, several local teachers unions reportedly are mulling whether to issue votes of no confidence in the state's superintendent, Terry Bergeson, who faces reelection this fall. "Her over-the-edge commitment on this has really created a big problem," said Dan Wilson, president of one local teachers union. "She endlessly says what a fabulous test it is, and teachers are saying, 'No, it's not.'"
