Georgia airports hope for stimulus funds

Airport managers in Georgia are among those hoping to benefit from the $1.1 billion in federal stimulus funds allocated for airport improvements. Northeast Georgia Regional Airport has already been granted funds to complete an instrument-guided landing system in Barrow County, Ga., and the Jackson County Airport Authority is also working to speed up projects to qualify for some of the funds.
