San Francisco restaurants appeal to Supreme Court

The Golden Gate Restaurant Association has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene and stop the city from mandating that employers pay for health care. The association maintains a sales tax is a better way to pay for health care costs than requiring merchants provide insurance or pay a fee to the city. The International Franchise Association co-signed an amicus brief for the case.
