U.S. lifts travel advisory for French West Indies


The strike in Martinique has come to an end, and the U.S. State Department has withdrawn its travel alert issued for the French West Indies in February. "On behalf of the entire tourism industry here in Martinique, let me say that we are very pleased at the decision taken by the State Department to lift the travel alert," said Madeleine de Grandmaison, head of the Martinique Tourism Authority.
