Blog: Lesson plans with March Madness theme are a slam dunk

Teachers can take advantage of student interest in March Madness by using the NCAA basketball tournament in classroom lessons. In this blog post, teachers are encouraged to use the basketball bracket in other subjects -- using the design to determine the best novel, the most heroic character in a book or the best U.S. president. These lessons also can include a debate portion where students defend their choices.
