Column: Travel to Mexico is safe if hot spots are avoided

The State Department recently issued a travel warning for Mexico, but unlike previous warnings, officials targeted specific towns that have seen violence or other issues. The areas of concern are generally border towns such as Tijuana, Ciudad Juarez and Nogales instead of the beach and historical destinations favored by most Americans.
