Conservative clerics lash out at Yemen's child-bride efforts

Some of Yemen's most prominent Islamic clerics signed on to a religious decree Sunday blasting those who support a ban on child brides as apostates. Yemen, where more than 25% of females are married before turning 15, is considering controversial legislation that would make marriage before the age of 17 illegal.
