ECB's Trichet opposes low-interest loans for Greece

Jean-Claude Trichet, president of the European Central Bank, voiced his opposition to offering Greece low-interest loans. The move deepens stalemate regarding aid for Greece. "There shouldn't be any subsidy element, no concessionary element" in potential loans to the debt-encumbered nation, Trichet said.
