Embraer: Demand for VLJs helps make up for commercial weakness

Despite increased deliveries of light and very light jets last year, Brazilian plane maker Embraer saw profit fall 31% on weak demand for its commercial aircraft. Phenom 100 very light jets accounted for 93 of the company's 244 total deliveries last year, and 120 VLJs are scheduled for delivery this year, out of a total 227 aircraft.
