Health reform makes NPs crucial in primary care

Passage of health reform means more Americans will have health coverage and nurse practitioners likely will have a major role in caring for them due to a shortage of primary care physicians. West Seattle family medicine NP Marty Couret says NPs and physician assistants will be a "necessity" in dealing with increasing number of patients.
