Verizon Wireless will let shoppers credit online buys to phone bill

Verizon Wireless said it would launch an e-commerce service this spring that will allow users of text-messaging-enabled handsets to charge up to $25 a month to their cell phone bills as long as they shop at online sites the carrier has approved. Using services created by Danal, subscribers will just have to click on a BilltoMobile button from their checkout cart and then enter their wireless number and billing ZIP code to authenticate the purchase.
