Weight counseling plus drug may help female smokers quit

Special weight counseling combined with the drug Zyban helped women smokers who were worried about adding on pounds increase their chances of quitting, researchers said. After one year, 24% of women in the counseling group remained abstinent compared with 19% of women who took Zyban but had only standard therapy.
