Cardiologist: Exercise, diet are key parts of wellness programs

Exercise is medicine and "it doesn't cost anything," Dr. Barry Ramo of the New Mexico Heart Institute told the Business Weekly's Healthiest Employers awards luncheon. He says that most company wellness programs begin with employee health screenings and that encouraging exercise and a healthy diet, along with not smoking, should be the next steps.
