More people are ditching red meat

Food critic Frank Bruni has been forced to give up his favorite food group -- red meat -- after being diagnosed with gout, a painful condition that afflicts 6 million Americans. Bruni writes that "grains and nuts have been my salvation," in his new diet, and he looks out for pasta dishes that include a touch of red meat when he feels like indulging a little.
