Study backs lung ultrasound for detecting pulmonary edema in pregnancy

A lung ultrasound is a fast and effective way of identifying whether a woman with preeclampsia has pulmonary edema, a study in the journal Anesthesiology found. Lung ultrasounds also can be used to monitor the effectiveness of pulmonary edema treatments in pregnant women.
