Wis. school adds global studies certificate to graduation honors

Students at a school in Wisconsin soon will be able to earn recognition for their foreign language studies. The school has launched a Global Education Achievement Certificate, available to students who complete four years of foreign language studies, participate in clubs and immersion activities, and complete special projects, among other things. "They have to broaden their horizons outside of school," said Michael Bartz, head of the school's foreign language department.
