International shoppers continue to buy American

Despite growing opposition to the U.S.-led war in Iraq, research shows most consumers worldwide are not altering their spending habits and continue to buy American products. A sizable minority, however, contend they avoid buying U.S. products; American firms are continuing their outreach in different countries in an attempt to establish closer ties to their local communities.
