Virgin Atlantic announces expansion plans

In another sign the aviation sector may be recovering, long-haul carrier Virgin Atlantic is set to announce expansion plans, including the addition of 1,400 jobs, new routes and aircraft orders. The airline said it will lease two more Airbus A340-600 jets, bringing to six the number of A340-600s it is set to acquire during the next two years.
