Connecticut schools chief: Laptops a must for high school kids

Sternberg observes that laptops are common throughout the business world, government and higher education, yet not in public schools. She urges the General Assembly to fund the governor's proposal to put laptops in every ninth- and 10th-grade English classroom so that students learn the skills needed for today's world.
